Enjoy a scenic drive to the coastal town with your private driver-guide, who will arrange a private boat ride through the mangroves of the Celestun Biosphere Reserve. Glide through tranquil waters and witness the famous pink flamingos gathered in striking flocks. The tour also offers views of other wildlife, including birds, turtles, and crocodiles—ideal for nature lovers. After the tour, unwind on Celestun's beautiful beaches with a swim in the Gulf of Mexico or relax on the shore. On your return, explore Merida's historic center on a leisurely walking tour. Day 3 : Full Day Chichen Itza and Cenote de Yokdzonot Tour
A visit to Chichen Itza offers a glimpse into the grandeur of the ancient Maya civilization. The Pyramid of Kukulcan dominates the site, its towering presence and precise architecture highlighting the advanced knowledge of the Maya as well as its Toltec influence. Exploring the Grand Plaza, visitors can marvel at the Ball Court and the Temple of the Warriors, each steeped in history and mystery. After touring the ruins, a trip to the nearby Cenote Yokdzonot provides a serene escape. This hidden cenote, surrounded by lush jungle, offers clear, cool waters perfect for swimming. The natural beauty and calm of the cenote create a peaceful contrast to the historical significance of Chichen Itza, making the experience both enriching and relaxing. It's a journey that blends culture, nature, and history in a truly memorable way.

Day 5 : Merida to Uxmal
A trip from Merida to Hacienda Sotuta de Peon, followed by a visit to Kabah is a great juxtaposition of Colonial and Mayan history. Hacienda Sotuta de Peon is a restored henequen plantation that dates to the 19th century. At the hacienda (a shared tour with a local guide), you'll learn about its fascinating history, while discovering how the henequen fiber was processed into rope and textiles. Then, head with your private driver-guide to Kabah, one of the key Mayan sites in this part of Yucatan. Kabah is known for its intricate architectural details, especially the impressive Codz Poop, a facade adorned with hundreds of stone masks of the rain god Chaac. Your day ends with a relatively short drive to your hotel in Uxmal. Accommodation at The Lodge at Uxmal with full breakfast.
Day 6 : Uxmal to Campeche
Your day begins with a visit to Uxmal, known for its unique Puuc-style architecture that sets it apart from other Mayan ruins. Highlights include the Pyramid of the Magician, with its rare oval shape, and the Nunnery Quadrangle, a striking courtyard surrounded by detailed stonework. Once a major political and ceremonial center, Uxmal’s layout reflects deep astronomical and ritual significance. Explore at your own pace with your private driver-guide. Afterward, travel onward to Campeche, a charming colonial city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. On select days, you may add a culinary experience at Ya’axche restaurant in Halachó (additional cost). Participate in a workshop and enjoy authentic Yucatecan dishes made with local ingredients a flavorful immersion into regional culture. Accommodation at the Plaza Colonial.
Day 7 : Full Day Edzna and City Tour of Campeche
Edzna is less crowded, and you can experience the grandeur of the site in peace. The Pyramid of the Five Stories is its central feature, rising majestically above the surrounding jungle. Edzna's ‘acoustic’ architecture – where sound resonates across the plaza – sets it apart from other Mayan sites, which together with its relative seclusion and unique architectural elements, make it a fascinating destination. Following this exploration, your private driver-guide will take you back to Campeche to enjoy a city tour. Once a bustling port city, Campeche was frequently attacked by pirates, leading to the construction of an impressive defensive wall that still encircles the historic center, and its nearby Fuerte de San Miguel Fortress was declared a World Heritage Site. You'll admire the cobblestone streets, the beautifully restored colonial buildings, the Zocalo where locals gather around fountains and shaded benches, and the grand Cathedral of La Concepcion, a stunning example of colonial architecture.
Day 8 : Depart from Campeche
Campeche to Merida Airport.
